Q. Can my employees do The Training Terminal modules at work and at home?
Yes! Our modules can be completed wherever is most convent for you or your employees. The only requirements are a good internet connection and a internet-capable device, like a laptop, smart phone or tablet.

Accessing Training

Q. How quickly can my employees start the training?
They’ll be able to start training as soon as their details are on our system and they’ve been given an access code to begin the training.
Q. How do my employees access the training Courses?
Once the details of your employee have been processed on the Management System, and they’ve been given a Course, they’ll be sent an access code via email that will tell them how they can access training.
Q. What are access codes?
Access codes are unique to each individual learner. Your employees will receive one once their details have been added to The Training Terminal Management System (The Training Terminal Portal).
Q. Why is my access code saying it is invalid?
An invalid access code is one that doesn’t exist on our systems. Check that your internet connection is working and that you have entered the access code as detailed in your instructions. Q. How long do the Courses last?
The length of a Course will depend on the amount of training that your employee requires. On average, most of our courses will take around 1.5 to 3 hours to complete.
Q. Are you required to complete the courses in any specific order?
Our courses can be completed in any order and you are able to set a due date of when the course needs to be completed.
Q. How do my employees consolidate their learning?
Make sure that your employees put their training to practical use as soon as they return to your workplace. This will help consolidate what they’ve learned.

Exams and Certificates

Q.What happens if employees fail the exam?
Our failed exam screen will show your employees that they’ve have been unsuccessful in passing the exam and that they should revisit the information in the course to assist their chances of passing next time round. There isn’t a limit on the number of attempts an employee can make to pass an exam.
Q. When will my employees receive their certificate?
The certificate can be printed immediately after the end of each exam if your employee is successful. It can also be printed at a later date. Alternatively, you can access the management system and print the certificates yourself if you need to.

The Training Terminal Portal

Q. What is The Training Terminal Portal?
The Training Terminal Portal is the management system where you control the training of your employees, check their progress and view their results. You can input details for multiple levels of your company: from individuals and branches, to areas or regions, depending on how big your business is. You can also control access for different managers, depending on which staff you want to be able to view certain information. Your trainees who log on to The Training Terminal Portal will be able to see the information of their own training.
Q. How do I give my employees access to the training & exams?
Once you’ve bought the training, you’ll be asked to identify who the training is for via our management system. After you’ve added your learners, they’ll be emailed instructions about how to start their training and exams. If they don’t have an email account, you’ll be able to print off these instructions for them. You’ll also be able to look at each of your trainee’s information and see if they’ve started their course .
Q. Once I have set up a learner and allocated courses can I amend the details?
Yes, you can edit their personal information and change or delete courses at any time.
Q. Can I be specific as to what courses my staff can access?
Yes, we allocate courses per individual so this means that you choose which employees access which courses.

Q. Why do I need a connection to the internet?
Our Courses are securely hosted in the Cloud and this means that you’ll need an internet connection above 1MB per second to access them.
Q. What are the minimum system requirements for the training Course?
The Training Terminal system runs on all modern web browsers including, Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, Internet Explorer 11 and above. Our training Courses can be access with traditional PCs and laptops, as well as tablet devices.
